Sarah Hadland recently admitted that she has liked Vito Coppola since the moment she saw him, but she doesn’t have the “energy” for dancing and flirting.
The actress, 53, and her professional dance partner Vito, 32, have spent most of the week rehearsing a steamy paso doble for Saturday night’s show.
But it seems the sexual tension has gotten to Sarah as she openly admitted that she had a crush on the Italian hunk as soon as she saw him because of course he is attractive.
While discussing whether or not she liked her dance partner, Sarah revealed The sun: ‘Yes, I liked him. I’m still alive, aren’t I?’
“If you’re a woman and you have a pulse, how can he NOT be someone’s type?”

She said: ‘The paso doble we are doing this week is very serious and sensual, and when we started learning it I was very giggly.’
The star also confessed that she had to keep her eyes on the camera while rehearsing the routine.
Claiming that there’s a lot of “groin to thigh,” Sarah confessed that she also has to look “deep into his eyes,” which makes things “ten times worse.”
Sarah has appeared in a string of TV hits and is best known for her role as Stevie Sutton in the BBC One BAFTA-nominated comedy TV series Miranda.
However, nothing could quite prepare her for the intimate dance with Vito and viewers will get to see the results of the pair’s steamy encounter on tonight’s show.
Sarah confessed that as an actor you are very ‘close to people’, but Strictly is ‘another level’.
But the star revealed she doesn’t find it ‘difficult’ to get close to her dance partner.
The star cheekily added that although she is already a Strictly fan, Vito is the ‘icing on the cake’.

In a new interview, Sarah revealed: ‘Yes, I liked him. I’m alive, aren’t I? If you’re a woman and have a pulse, how can he NOT be someone’s type?’
However, she confessed that she doesn’t have the “energy” for dancing and flirting, claiming that she can only do one or the other as she is now “dedicated to dance.”
Sarah also revealed that she feels like she’s carving out her place on the show as the “funny girl” while “getting in on the comedy.”
Despite her comedy background, Sarah is a serious contender for Strictly’s glitterball trophy, as she and Vito finished joint second on the leaderboard last week.
Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and her partner Aljaž Škorjanec also finished in second place.
While JLS star JB Gill and his partner Amy Dowden were just one point ahead of them.
During last week’s show, viewers were unable to vote for their favorites or vote anyone off the show.
However, that will change as one couple will be eliminated from tonight’s show.
Despite news of an elimination on tonight’s show, Sarah is confident she and Vito will make it through thanks to everything he’s taught her so far.
However, Sarah confessed that she doesn’t have the ‘energy’ for dancing and flirting, claiming she can only do one or the other as she is now ‘dedicated to dance’.
Admitting that it sounds a bit ‘arty farty’, Sarah admitted that she feels like she is learning more about herself as she pushes herself during rehearsals to keep going.
Sarah also admitted that she and Vito both have similar personalities and that she doesn’t feel like she’s being taught in a “rigorous” way when it comes to rehearsals.
Instead, it feels like she’s being taught by someone who “believes” in her.
Strictly’s 20th anniversary series has become somewhat tainted after the BBC show became embroiled in scandal in a year plagued by controversy.
And the BBC failed to address the scandal during the launch episode, despite the results of the misconduct investigation still pending.
It all started last October when actress Amanda Abbington unexpectedly quit the show before claiming her partner Giovanni Pernice abused her.
The Sherlock actress has made a series of accusations about Giovanni’s teaching methods, describing his behavior as ‘unnecessary, insulting, cruel and mean’. He strongly denies all allegations.
Giovanni, 33, was suspended while a BBC investigation into allegations made by Amanda and two other former celebrity partners continues.
With the report into his misconduct due to be released soon, Amanda is said to be deeply disappointed with BBC bosses over fears they are ‘protecting’ the dancer amid the bullying investigation.

There have been high-level meetings between BBC bosses as they navigated how to convey their findings, fearing the looming possibility of legal action from Amanda or Giovanni if either were disappointed by the outcome.
After Giovanni, the show was hit by a new wave of scandal when Graziano Di Prima was sacked in July for ‘kicking’ his partner Love Island star Zara McDermott.
Zara explained that she did not report the incidents at the time because she was “afraid” of backlash.
IInstead, it was junior production staff who came forward to talk about what they saw during the pro-dancer investigation Giovanni took place.
Zara told her followers that while much of her time on Strictly was “everything I could have dreamed of” in the training room with Graziano, there were “particular incidents that are incredibly distressing.”
