Kamala Harris’ VP pick Tim Walz is brutally mocked for ‘campaigning for Trump’ after bizarre ‘four more years’ rant

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was ridiculed on right-wing Twitter for appearing to campaign for new leadership in the White House by telling a rally in Pennsylvania, 'We can't afford another four years of this'

    • Right-wing social media was quick to point out that Governor Walz recently made comments at his rally

The MAGA world erupted in mockery of Governor Tim Walz after he appeared to push for a new party to take over the White House next year.

Walz told a crowd in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on Saturday: “We can’t afford another four years of this.”

The line is usually reserved for candidates campaigning against an incumbent they want to oust and implement change. But in this case, current Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate are looking to take over from Democratic President Joe Biden.

“Kamala is in the office now,” one X user noted. “She’s the ‘this.’”

Another user wrote: ‘I don’t know if you know this Tim, but your current running mate is some sort of VP.’

“When your opponent campaigns for you,” wrote a popular “America First” account on X, formerly Twitter, adding that the “four more years” comment would mean, “We agree with you, Timmy!”

Republicans often point to the policies of the Biden-Harris administration, which the party says have led to rapid decline over the past four years.

In particular, they point to economic policies and open borders initiatives that have created two of the biggest problems for voters this election cycle: the economy and inflation.

“WALZ FINALLY TELLS THE TRUTH: ‘We can’t afford four more years’ of Kamala Harris,” the Trump War Room account said.

The governor of Minnesota made the comments during a campaign rally in the state of Pennsylvania, where the elections are still uncertain.

Walz was talking about the steps he’s taken to restrict gun sales in his state: “Things like we did in Minnesota, like stricter background checks and stricter laws, to get guns out of there and make a difference.”

“And I still have my guns to go pheasant shooting in a few weeks…” he said before walking away to address a rallygoer who appeared to need medical attention.

Candidates who advocate for change usually come through a challenge to an incumbent. But Walz's running mate Kamala Harris is the one leading the 2024 Democratic ticket, and she currently serves as President Joe Biden's vice president

A few minutes later, Walz returned to the status of the race, concluding his campaign speech with criticism of Trump and his running mate, Senator JD Vance.

“I’m going to bring her home real quick, folks,” the Democrat said. “Look, Kamala Harris made it clear that these guys are trying to spread fear. They’re trying to tell you… get over it, it’s a fact. That’s the way it is.”

‘[Harris] “He just said it doesn’t have to be this way,” he continued. “It doesn’t have to be this way.”

“We cannot afford this for another four years,” he concluded.
