David Graham, renowned for voicing characters in Thunderbirds and Peppa Pig, has passed away at the age of 99. Born in London, Graham brought iconic characters to life, such as the Thunderbirds’ Gordon Tracy, Brains, and Parker, as well as the Daleks in Doctor Who.

Jamie Anderson, son of Thunderbirds creator Gerry Anderson, confirmed the news, recalling a recent celebration for Graham’s 99th birthday with 2,000 fans in Birmingham. He described Graham as “kind and generous with his time and talent.”

He further continued, “Just a few weeks ago, I was with 2,000 Anderson fans at a Gerry Anderson concert in Birmingham where we sang him happy birthday – such a joyous occasion,

“And now, just a few weeks later, he’s left us.”

Graham’s work extended to ITV’s Thunderbirds Are Go remake from 2015 to 2020, though Ron Cook voiced Parker in the 2004 live-action film. The original Thunderbirds series, launched in 1965, was created by Gerry Anderson and his wife Sylvia, who voiced Lady Penelope.

Gerry Anderson paid tribute to Graham on X, describing him as a “wonderful friend” who will be missed dearly.

Beyond Thunderbirds, and voicing Grandpa Pig in Peppa Pig, Graham also worked on Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom. His live-action roles included appearances in Doctor Who, Coronation Street, and Casualty.
