Anais Gallagher hits back at ‘ageist and misogynist’ fans complaining that young people don’t deserve Oasis tickets ahead of huge rush to land a spot at band’s reunion tour

Noel Gallagher's daughter Anais has hit back at fans who were 'ageist and misogynist' and complained about young people jumping on the Oasis bandwagon ahead of the band's reunion tour

She played a major role in making the long-awaited Oasis reunion possible.

And now Noel Gallagher’s daughter, Anais, has hit back at fans who are “ageist and misogynist” and complaining about young people joining Oasis since the brothers announced their long-awaited reunion this week.

Social media is abuzz with older fans of the band, complaining that ‘suddenly everyone loves Oasis’ and saying they deserve priority access to tickets for next summer’s shows.

The 24-year-old expressed her anger via the video app TikTok: ‘There is one thing I will not tolerate: ageism and misogyny around people trying to get tickets.

“Sorry, if a 19-year-old girl in a pink cowboy hat wants to join, I’ll make sure my friendship bracelets are ready.”

She also showed her support for fellow user Josie, who wrote: ‘What do you mean everyone suddenly likes Oasis? Everyone has always liked them. They are one of the most famous bands in the world.

“Don’t try to keep Oasis out, because you probably can’t keep the most famous band in the UK out. Literally, the whole of Britain is an Oasis fan.”

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Saturday and demand is expected to be high to see the Gallagher brothers at 17 major open-air shows in Cardiff, Manchester, London and Edinburgh next summer.

This comes after sales of the brothers’ albums more than quadrupled in the past week, with HMV reporting that sales of their Definitely Maybe LP have increased by 443 percent.

Anais, whose mother is Noel’s first wife, Meg Mathews, has become a fixture on her father’s side, accompanying his solo band High Flying Birds on tour in 2023 and directing a documentary about the journey.

She said: ‘I know he likes to think differently, but I honestly love my dad’s music more than anything. I play Oasis and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds on full blast in my room all the time.’

The Mail revealed earlier this week that Anais and Liam’s 23-year-old son Gene took the lead in resolving their own feud and convinced their fathers to get back together after 15 years.

A friend of the stars revealed: ‘Anais and Gene led the way by showing their fathers that they could put their differences aside.

“They didn’t mince their words. They told their fathers that they loved their old music and that they wanted to see the two of them on stage together.”

Anais previously supported the news of the Oasis reunion by posting photos of her father and uncle from the 90s and declaring: ‘Summer 2025’.

She also reposted the band’s announcement video and their statement: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see it. It will not be televised.”

The post marks a thawing in the relationship between Anais and her uncle Liam, after the Oasis frontman questioned the paternity of Anais, the daughter of Noel and Meg Matthews.

The comments led to Noel punching his brother and splitting his lip in 2000, after which he left the band.

There is already talk of announcing more dates for the long-awaited Oasis reunion tour, which music insiders say will ‘sell out in three minutes’.

The band, completed by original guitarist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs, will play 17 shows next summer in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin.

Tickets for the Oasis Live 25 tour go on sale Saturday at 9am, with a pre-sale on Friday for select fans selected from a draw.

More than four million fans are expected to compete for the 1,066,888 available tickets for the concerts, with sources telling The Sun that once tickets sell out, ‘additional dates will definitely be added’.

According to industry insiders, Bonehead have been “confirmed” for the tour and are “overjoyed” to be back together.

Liam and Noel Gallagher ‘both wanted him in their midst’ after he was ‘one of the driving forces behind the reunion’.

Oasis split in 2009 after years of internal feuding. Noel officially left the band just before a performance at a festival near Paris, saying at the time that he ‘simply couldn’t work with Liam another day’.
