Olivia Newton-John’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi has announced she will return Down Under later this year to honour her mother’s legacy.

The 38-year-old American singer and actress announced via Instagram on Thursday that she will participate in Olivia’s Walk for Wellness in Melbourne on October 6.

In a short video, Chloe encouraged her followers to join in a fun day out for a good cause, raising money for cancer research.

“And be sure to bring your puppies,” Chloe added in her enthusiastic post.

In the caption, the Paradise Beach actress said the theme for the 2024 walk was “Let’s Get Physical,” with participants encouraged to dress in retro ’80s outfits.

The theme appears to be an homage to Olivia’s 1981 hit Physical.

Chloe also let her followers know that the 11th annual Olivia Walk for Wellness will take place in Melbourne’s scenic Alexandra Gardens.

International fans can register for the charity event, which raises money for free wellness programs at the ONJ Cancer Center in Heidelberg, Victoria.

The glamorous artist concluded her message with, “Hope to see you all there! With love, light and gratitude, Chloe!”

Chloe also traveled to Australia last year to take part in the popular event.

This came after Chloe revealed that she was facing health issues after her mother passed away from breast cancer in 2022.

Olivia died at the age of 73, after battling the disease for 20 years.

“I was not doing well. I had extreme memory loss and difficulty getting out of bed. I neglected myself,” she explained in an Instagram video, just a year after Olivia’s passing.

“One of my mom’s biggest messages was to take care of yourself. So I’m going to be disappearing for about three weeks because I’m developing health issues in my mind and body.”

Chloe is Olivia’s only child, born in 1986 from her first marriage to actor Matt Lattanzi.

Olivia was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992 and began raising money for research and cancer awareness. She was successfully treated and went into remission.

Unfortunately, Olivia’s cancer returned in 2013 and 2017.

The Olivia Newton-John Wellness and Research Centre opened in 2012 and has helped thousands of people through its services.

Debbie Shiel, the centre’s fundraising director, later described Newton-John as a “trailblazer” for her efforts.

In 2019, Newton-John was appointed a Companion of the Order of Australia and also a Commander of the Order of the British Empire.

Olivia’s death prompted an outpouring of public grief and heartfelt tributes from her loved ones, including Grease co-star John Travolta and Victoria Premier Dan Andrews, who held a state funeral for her.

The beloved actress and singer passed away on August 8, 2022, at her home in Santa Ynez, California.
