I’m a celebrity… get me out of here! Australian presenter Robert Irwin has given a rare insight into his private life.
The 20-year-old announced his plans to start a family after his niece Grace showed him “how much joy a child can bring.”
‘I’m not in a hurry, but that’s absolutely the plan. [to have kids],’ he told The Daily Telegraph.
“When you find someone, family, things like that, you just have to let it happen, that’s what I’m finding out.”
“You just have to let it go, surrender to the process and just let it happen.”
It comes after Robert recently spoke candidly about his love life following his split from Rorie Buckey during an interview on the Kyle and Jackie O show on KIIS FM.
“How’s the dating world going? I know you were with someone,” Kyle Sandilands asked.
Robert replied: ‘I’ve been really busy at the moment. Accommodation and the I’m A Celebrity stuff, so it’s been super busy.’

Robert announced in February that he and his girlfriend Rorie had split.
Shortly after announcing their shocking split, the two deleted all traces of their relationship from each other’s social media.
After dating for almost two years, they jointly posted on Rorie’s Instagram page about their split.
After Robert shared the devastating news, he removed Rorie from his Instagram account. His Instagram page now only features posts from himself and his family.
In a joint statement, they confirmed their split, saying they had “decided to go their separate ways” but that they “valued the time they spent together.”

The statement said: “We want to let you know that we have decided to go our separate ways, but we greatly appreciate the time we have spent together and wish each other all the best for the future.”
“We would like to express our gratitude and respect for each other as we walk our different paths.
“We will not be commenting further on this matter and appreciate your respect and privacy at this time.”
Robert and Rorie were believed to have been dating since November 2022, but it wasn’t until almost a year later, in August 2023, that they made their relationship official on Instagram.
