Shannen Doherty left her loved ones very specific instructions about what she wanted to happen to her remains after her death.

The 90210 star, who tragically passed away on Saturday, spoke candidly about her funeral plans and burial arrangements during her Podcast Let’s be clear in January.

‘I do [my remains] to be mixed with my dog, and I want him to be mixed with my father. I don’t want to be buried and I don’t want to be cremated,” she explained.

The raven-haired star also suggested spreading the mixture in Malibu, California, where she and her father spent “precious time” together.

She also expressed interest in her loved ones using her remains as fertilizer and “growing a tree” from them.

Her father, John Thomas Doherty, died in 2010 at the age of 66 after a long health battle.

In the same podcast episode, the actress spoke candidly about who she doesn’t want at her funeral, explaining that she’d rather keep it a little more intimate.

“There are a lot of people that I think would show up, but I don’t want them. I don’t want them because their reasons for coming aren’t necessarily the best reasons,” she explained.

“They don’t really like me that much and, you know, they have their reasons and they’re good reasons, but they don’t really like me enough to come to my funeral,” she continued.

The 53-year-old said some people would not attend her memorial service because of the “pressure”.

She said: ‘[They’ll show up] because it’s the politically correct thing to do, and they don’t want to look bad, so I want to take the pressure off them and I want my funeral to be some kind of love fest

“I don’t want people to cry or silently say, ‘Thank goodness that bitch is dead now,’” she concluded.

The Fortress star’s tragic death came about a month after she admitted the past year had been “really hard” for her.

On Sunday, Doherty’s publicist Leslie Sloane confirmed the actress’s death.

“It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of actress Shannen Doherty. On Saturday, July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after many years of battling the disease,” Sloane said People.

“The devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend was surrounded by her loved ones and her dog, Bowie. The family requests their privacy at this time so they may grieve in peace,” Sloane added.

Doherty, who played Brenda Walsh on the hit 1990s series Beverly Hills 90210, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015.

Just two years later, the Charmed star announced that the cancer had returned, after she went into remission.

She told Good Morning America at the time: ‘In a few days or a week, I’m going to be diagnosed with stage 4. So my cancer has come back and that’s why I’m here.’

“I don’t think I’ve processed it. It’s a bitter pill to swallow in many ways,” she said.

Last year, she announced in an Instagram post that the cancer had spread to her brain, and it showed her undergoing radiation therapy.
