Travis Kelce Dedicates His Karaoke Win to Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce pulled off a performance that would have made Taylor Swift proud, winning a karaoke contest in Lake Tahoe on Thursday night.

And after being crowned the winner, Kelce dedicated the win to his pop star girlfriend.

Travis and his brother Jason are in Lake Tahoe, Nevada this week for the American Century Championship, a golf tournament that features a host of athletes and celebrities competing on the course to raise money for charity.

The night before the tournament officially started, the American Century Championship held a karaoke contest to blow off some steam before the tournament. Kelce was one of many who took the stage.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end performed Whitesnake’s 1982 hit “Here I Go Again” to a massive reception from the crowd in Lake Tahoe before eventually being declared the winner.

Swift has been in a relationship with Kelce for almost a year

When Kelce accepted his award, he gave a hilarious shout-out to Swift in a video that quickly went viral on social media.

After jumping up and down in excitement and pretending to cry, he threw an arm in the air and shouted, “Taylor, this is for you!”

The 34-year-old has demonstrated his singing qualities in the past, albeit with varying degrees of success.

During the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade in February, Kelce took the microphone and drunkenly sang Garth Brooks’ famous 1990 hit “Friends In Low Places” as he staggered across the stage.

He also performed Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble’s “Pride and Joy” at a charity event in 2022 and Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” at a similar event in 2019.

Kelce has been dating Swift for about a year. The singer publicly confirmed their relationship when she attended her first Chiefs game last September.

Since then they have only grown stronger and enjoy the many trips and nights out, while supporting each other in their own field.

Just last month, Kelce surprised fans by appearing onstage at Swift’s Eras Tour show in London, before flying to Amsterdam to attend her next series of concerts.

According to Life & StyleThe superstar couple isn’t afraid to spoil each other with extravagant dates and romantic gestures, reportedly spending $100,000 a day on gifts, private jets, hotels, bodyguards and more.

“Taylor and Travis have become international jet-setters and their extravagant spending is unprecedented,” a source told the magazine.

“The multiple bodyguards, the private jets, the luxury hotel rooms, plus the romantic gestures they’re both known for, probably make them the most lavishly spending couple in the world. It’s pretty extreme.”
