Nicole Scherzinger has revealed that she is not ruling out a Pussycat Dolls reunion in the future, putting an end to rumours of a feud with her bandmates.
The iconic girl group – originally consisting of Nicole, Melody Thornton, Kaya Jones, Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta and Kimberly Wyatt – officially disbanded in 2010 and plans for a 2020 reunion tour were disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Since then, rumors of a rift have swirled over Nicole’s dominant role in both the recording studio and on stage. However, Nicole, 46, claims a reunion tour is still possible, while raving about her “dolls.”
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline at the Wimbledon Championships ahead of her performance at The Hill in NYC, Nicole said: ‘I love my dolls. I love the Pussycat Dolls. So I always say, never say never.
‘I’m definitely at a different stage in my life right now, but you never know what the future holds.’

The iconic girl group – originally consisting of Nicole, Melody Thornton, Kaya Jones, Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta and Kimberly Wyatt – officially broke up in 2010, with plans for a 2020 reunion tour scuppered by the Covid-19 pandemic.
When asked if she is still in touch with her bandmates, Nicole confirmed, “We are still in touch. I am very happy for the girls.
“I see them, I love following them on their Instagram and everyone looks good doing it!”
Robin Antin, best known as a choreographer, founded The Pussycat Dolls in 1995 as a burlesque company.
At the suggestion of legendary record executive Jimmy Iovine, Antin popularized the group and appointed Scherzinger as lead singer in 2003.
The group released two albums: 2005’s PCD, which reached the top five on the Billboard 200 album charts, and 2008’s Doll Domination, which peaked at number four.
The group’s last original tour was in 2009. The group split the following year. They didn’t reunite until 2019, when a reunion tour and a possible third album were announced.
In 2021, The Hollywood Reporter reported that Robin had filed a lawsuit against Nicole over claims that she threatened to derail the Pussycat Dolls tour.
He alleged that Nicole refused to participate in the reunion unless she was given a majority stake in the affair, despite previously agreeing to a smaller stake.
Nicole rejected claims that she attempted to renegotiate a 2019 deal over their Pussycat Dolls Worldwide venture and their planned reunion tour.
The singer released her debut solo album in 2011 and has now announced that she is working on new music.
She told MailOnline: ‘I’m always working on music, so I can’t wait to share some of the new musical projects I’m working on in the future. But that time will come. One thing at a time, everything in its own time.’

Since her time with the group, Scherzinger has also branched out into acting, with roles in Moana and Men In Black 3, among others.

Nicole is now heading to Broadway, which she says is “a dream come true.”
She explained: ‘It’s crazy, I’ve done the West End twice and I’ve never been to Broadway. This is my very first time, making my debut as Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard, the beautiful Andrew Lloyd Webber musical with my brilliant director Jamie Lloyd.
“I’m so excited. It’s going to be a dream come true for me. I’ve always dreamed of going to the theater since I was a little girl and now I’m doing it as Norma and all the stars are aligned. I couldn’t have imagined a better time, a better role, a better everything. So I feel really blessed and excited.
We’ve had so much success here [London] and I felt honored to win the Olivier Award, so now we can share all our hard work and love for this truly unique production with everyone and on Broadway.’
Speaking about the role, Nicole added: ‘It’s an extremely demanding role. Anyone who knows Sunset Boulevard knows the role of Norma.
“I put everything on the line and I leave it all on the line every time I perform, but it’s a blessing because I love it. I always say you have to give it 110 percent. You have to make it count every time. Otherwise, what do you do?”

Nicole, who has been engaged to former rugby player Thom Evans for over a year, made a solo appearance at the Wimbledon Championships on Monday, ahead of her headline concert on Friday at The Hill in New York City.
Last year, Spice Girl Melanie C treated tennis fans to a fun performance with solo versions of the band’s classics.
Nicole looked signature chic in an Esha dress by Emilia Wickstead at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in South London.
Nicole said of her solo performance: ‘I’ve been doing this since I came out of my mother’s womb, performing and singing. I grew up in musical theater and on stage I’m a professional. I’ve got this.
“And my beautiful dancers are coming to support me. And most importantly, my fans and the audience are there, so I won’t be alone.”
As she sang her hits, Nicole added, “We’re gonna untie some knots and hey, don’t hold your breath. It’s gonna be a great time.”
The iconic American event of Wimbledon, The Hill in New York, returns for a third year at a new location near the Brooklyn Bridge from July 12-14, 2024.
