Hunt for man who allegedly urinated all over $300 worth of food inside a supermarket

    A man allegedly walked into a convenience store and urinated on $300 worth of food. Police have released images of a man they would like to speak to

    A man reportedly walked into a supermarket and urinated on $300 worth of food.

    The disgusting incident is said to have taken place at a supermarket on George Street in Sydney’s CBD at 11.40pm on July 1.

    “Police have been informed that the incident caused more than $300 worth of damage to agricultural produce and that efforts have been made to decontaminate the area for several hours,” NSW Police said.

    Police have released images of a man they would like to speak to.

    He is described as white, aged between 20 and 30, of medium build. He was wearing a navy cap on backwards, a black jacket, black trousers and dark blue shoes, while carrying a black school bag.

    Anyone with information about the incident or who may be able to identify the man is urged to contact Sydney City Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
