Australian influencer Bonnie Stacey has shared devastating health news with her followers.
The Perth-based landscape designer and mother of two young children, who delights her 37,000 Instagram followers with her creative garden solutionshas revealed that she is battling skin cancer at the age of 30.
“Hello friends, this is a difficult post to write as the past few weeks have been the most challenging yet for our family,” she began her lengthy caption alongside a photo she posted on the social platform last week.
“Unfortunately, after some recent tests, I have been diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma. I will be undergoing immediate treatment and surgery,” she continued.
‘For those who don’t know my melanoma story, I had early stage melanoma 10 years ago at the age of 20.
‘Doctors believe this is the cause of the melanoma now discovered in my lymph nodes (which is very unusual as it has been 10 years).
‘This was noticed after I sought a third opinion about a lump in my armpit in November.
“An important reminder: Always get a second, third, or fourth opinion if you feel like something isn’t right.”

She continued: ‘As you can imagine, this news is quite devastating for me as a 30-year-old mother of two young children. Right now, my main focus is on my babies getting better.
