    Gushing about the moment she was cast in 2021, Petticrew said, “I’m not sure where the wires crossed.

    “I thought this was another really small, independent film like the one I made,” she explained. “

    ‘We were all after sushi and the producers kept bringing up A24. I thought, “Why do you guys keep talking about that studio?” And they said, ‘Because this is an A24 film.’”
