Lisa Marie Presley claims mom Priscilla’s ex-boyfriend molested her when she was 10 in bombshell memoir

Lisa Marie Presley has claimed she was abused by Mike Edwards, the ex-boyfriend of her mother Priscilla Presley.

The late Lisa Marie, who died in January 2023, says in her memoir From Here to the Great Unknown, which was released posthumously on Wednesday after daughter Riley Keough completed the project for her, claims that Mike touched her when she was 10.

In the memoir, Lisa Marie said that when she was ten, he came into her bedroom one night and touched her leg with his finger.

“He said he was going to teach me what was going to happen when I got older. He put his hand on my chest and said a man would touch you here and there. He put his hand between my legs and said they were going to touch you here,” Lisa Marie wrote.

Priscilla was in a relationship with Mike from 1977 to 1984.

Mike, now 80, started his career as a model.

He played Ted Gelber, Joan Crawford’s lover in the film Mommie Dearest, released in 1981.

He appeared in Terminator 2: Judgment Day in 1991.

“I think he kissed me gently and left that night,” Lisa Marie, the daughter of rock ‘n’ roll legend Elvis Presley, added in her memoir.

She told her mother Priscilla the next day, writing that she went into her room and slammed the door before calling Lisa Marie to come in.

Lisa Marie said Priscilla told her that Mike wanted to apologize to her.

‘Edwards was sitting on their bed looking very sullen and grumpy… he said, ‘I’m so sorry, but in Europe that’s how they teach the kids, so that’s what I was doing.’

In the memoir, Lisa Marie said that when she was ten, he came into her bedroom one night and touched her leg with his finger.

However, after his apology, Lisa Marie claimed it continued, according to her memoir.

‘It ended up being him touching me and hitting me and telling me not to look [at him].

“I guess he was jerking off. He wouldn’t be mad at me – he would do it very calmly, just sitting in a chair and slapping my butt. My but would be black, blue, orange and green,” Lisa Marie wrote.

When she approached her mother Priscilla and showed the bruises, she remembered saying to her, “What did you do to cause that?”

When Priscilla confronted him on the other occasions, Lisa Marie claimed he would say he was ‘drunk’ or that she was ‘flirting’ with him.

The memoir was released posthumously on October 8; Lisa Marie had been working on it at the time of her death. Daughter Riley completed the memoir after her death.

Lisa Marie died on January 12, 2023 at the age of 54 due to a small bowel obstruction – caused by complications from bariatric surgery.

She died two days after attending the Golden Globe Awards with Riley and Priscilla Presley.

Page Six contacted Mike for comment and he told the newspaper: ‘I’m in shock, that’s not true… I was like a father to Lisa Marie. I don’t think Lisa was that stable during that period.’

He added that no one from the publishing house contacted him before the book’s publication.

In Mike’s book, released in 1988, titled Elvis, Priscilla and Me, he admitted that he “sexually desired Lisa” and that he was “in love” with her.

‘Where once Priscilla and I were inseparable, now it was Lisa and I who were together almost every day. I soon found myself looking at my watch, waiting for Lisa’s school to get out, just as Elvis had once eagerly awaited Priscilla’s return to Graceland from school every day.”

Lisa Marie also opened up in the memoir about her decision to keep late son Benjamin’s body in a guest house at her LA mansion – using dry ice to preserve his remains for two months after his July 2020 suicide at 27-year-old age.

Lisa Marie also got a matching tattoo as Benjamin during her grieving process.

Riley said she wanted his name and a matching tattoo of him on her hand.

When the tattoo artist asked her if she had any photos that would be helpful in the process, Lisa Marie took him to see Ben and his remains.

They ended up having the funeral in Malibu and buried Benjamin in Graceland, where Lisa Marie is also buried – near Elvis, who died of a heart attack in 1977 at the age of 42.
