The government has stated that they have also chartered a flight to accommodate additional demand from British nationals and their dependants. This flight is scheduled to depart from Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport on Wednesday. Lammy assured that efforts are in place to protect British nationals, but warned that the unpredictable circumstances could affect the speed of any necessary actions.
