During her appearance on Howard Stern’s radio show on Tuesday, Vice President Kamala Harris discussed her portrayal on “Saturday Night Live.” Stern expressed his displeasure at seeing her mocked on the show, stating, “I hate it. I don’t want you being made fun of. There’s too much at stake. I believe the entire future of this country right now … it’s literally on the line.”

However, Harris, aged 59, shared that she finds actor Maya Rudolph’s impersonation of her amusing. “It was funny,” she remarked. “I am a huge fan of Maya Rudolph, so I think she’s put a lot of time into doing the piece and the character.”

Rudolph returned to her role as Harris this season, having first portrayed the former California district attorney during the 2020 election period. On the same day, Harris also spoke about the “SNL” skits during an appearance on “The View.” She was shown a video of Rudolph’s performance that she had not seen before. “Maya Rudolph. I mean she is so good. She has the whole thing — the suit, the jewellery, everything, the mannerisms,” Harris commented.

These media appearances are part of Harris’s new tour with less than a month remaining until Election Day. She has previously been interviewed on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast to engage younger audiences, appeared on “60 Minutes,” and is scheduled to be on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” later tonight.
