Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Zulu suspect, Kwanda Ngubane, was arrested while sleeping at Block 8 room no 1, Jabulani Hostel, after he killed a Bolt driver on Lilly and Olivia Street in Berea while fighting over his white Toyota Etios car key with LR 36 HY GP plate number.
A 26-year-old man was arrested during a raid at a Soweto hostel on Thursday for the murder of a Johannesburg e-hailing taxi driver.
“A joint operation involving the JMPD (Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department ) Tactical Response Unit and the SAPS Gauteng Tracking Team led to the arrest of the suspect at Jabulani Hostel in Soweto. The suspect was identified based on information received regarding the fatal shooting incident that occurred in Lilly and Olivia Streets in Berea,” JMPD spokesperson Superintendent Xolani Fihla said. Fihla said the man was found asleep in a room in the hostel.
