As the first live show of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing draws ever closer, Tasha Ghouri can already feel the excitement.
On Wednesday, the 26-year-old model shared a video of herself and her professional dance partner, Aljaz Skorjanec, 34, during their penultimate rehearsal before performing live on TV.
“Woo team Altash!” Tasha said in the video. “I’m so excited for Saturday, it’s going to be awesome.”
The duo will perform their first dance of the new series on Saturday evening, along with fifteen other participating couples.
“Tomorrow is the last day of rehearsals before we hit the studio on Friday!! These two weeks are flying by but we can’t wait to get on that floor,” Tasha wrote.

During the break between rehearsals, Tasha’s boyfriend Andrew Le Page, 29, came to visit her to support her.
Aljaz’s wife and former Strictly professional dancer Janette Manrara, 40, also came along with their baby Lyra.
Tasha shared a photo of herself holding and hugging Lyra.
The model, who wears a cochlear implant, is the second deaf contestant to take part in the show, following Rose Ayling-Ellis, who won in 2021 with her partner Giovanni Pernice.
Pernice will not return professionally this year following bullying allegations made against him by his celebrity partner from the 2023 series, Amanda Abington. Pernice denies the allegations.
Tasha met Andrew on the eighth season of the popular dating reality show Love Island in 2022, where they finished fourth.
In February, the couple became homeowners and have been documenting their home renovation on Instagram.
Aljaz and Janette met in 2010 during their performances on the live dance show Burn The Floor.
“I was attracted to Janette as soon as we met. I think it was because she was so hard to approach, which triggered something that made me try even harder!” Aljaz told the BBC.
They married in 2017 in three beautiful wedding ceremonies held in London, Slovenia and Miami.
Lyra was born on July 28, 2023 at Portland Hospital in London, weighing 3.4 kilos.
