Cheryl Hines appears to have taken off her wedding ring, coming out for the first time since her husband Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was involved in a sexting scandal with a journalist.
The 59-year-old actress beamed as she left the showroom in Milan, Italy on Friday night following a Gucci afterparty during Milan Fashion Week.
Despite the attention surrounding her nuptials, the Curb Your Enthusiasm star appeared to be in good spirits as she waved to her fans wearing a stylish leather jacket, white shirt and blue pants.
The shocking photos revealed that she had thrown away her large diamond wedding ring, which she wore less than a week ago at the Emmy Awards on Sunday.
As she greeted her fans in Italy, Hines brandished a set of keys on her finger. In the blink of an eye, a smaller band was visible on the ring finger of her left hand.
It’s unclear whether it was a key ring or a smaller, more subtle ring than the one she last showed off in public on Sunday.
The star-studded appearance came just days before her husband’s alleged affair with New York Magazine reporter Olivia Nuzzi came to light.

After Kennedy’s extramarital affair with Nuzzi came to light, the journalist continued to insist that their relationship was only through text messages and never became “physical.”
Amid the scandal’s aftermath, Hines has said nothing about the state of her decade-long marriage to Kennedy.
Before this week’s humiliation, the actress had been mostly supportive of her husband during his unpredictable and sometimes bizarre presidential campaign, including Kennedy’s recent admission that he dumped a bear’s body in Central Park in 2014.
Hines also survived a new federal investigation into allegations that Kennedy chopped off the head of a dead whale and took it home during a trip to the beach two decades ago.

Her co-star Larry David once described her as “the only person in Hollywood who doesn’t have a single enemy.” The star’s marriage to Kennedy has reportedly cost her a great deal of personal expense over the years.
Her friends reportedly warned the actress about Kennedy’s past as a serial rapist, while others questioned her silence when her husband expressed anti-vaccination rhetoric during the pandemic.
It was David who introduced Kennedy to his Curb Your Enthusiasm colleague in 2006 during a ski weekend in Banff, Canada, for the Waterkeeper Alliance, an environmental nonprofit Kennedy co-founded.
In the years since she married Kennedy a decade ago, Hines is said to have lost acting opportunities and Hollywood friendships because of her husband’s political leanings.
Olivia Nuzzi, 31, a Washington correspondent for New York magazine, was suspended after it emerged she was in a relationship with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Both Hines and Kennedy were married to other people when they met. Hines was married to Paul Young, founder of the management company Principato-Young, with whom she has one daughter, Catherine, 20.
Kennedy was previously married to his second wife, Mary Richardson Kennedy. Kennedy filed for divorce from Mary in 2010, but she committed suicide in 2012 before the proceedings were completed.
By then, Hines and Kennedy had reconnected. They went public with their relationship in October 2011 and married three years later.
Hines later admitted that David had never intended to play matchmaker and even gave her a hard time about the relationship, saying, “Why would you do that? Are you crazy?”
Kennedy’s relationship with Nuzzi reportedly began after she visited the $6.6 million California home he shares with Hines for a profile photo last November.

Nuzzi’s profile of Kennedy was less than flattering, and included descriptions of a ride in his “filthy” dog carriage that looked like one that had “survived a nuclear war” or had “the chicken pox vaccine.”
“Rear view mirror in tatters, seat belts chewed off, cushions chewed up, dirt and dog hair on every surface. The death machine stinks so bad I thought I was going to pass out after about 15 seconds as a passenger,” she wrote.
The unflattering image of Kennedy continued when Nuzzi described how his dogs “produced an astonishing amount of waste” during their walk, how he had an “unfriendly expression” on his face and how happy he was when he pointed out “coyote poop” to her during their walk.
As her relationship with Kennedy comes under increasing scrutiny, Nuzzi said in a statement that their conversations “became more personal” but never “physical.”
She said in the statement: “Earlier this year, the nature of communications between me and a former reporter became personal.
‘At the time, I did not report directly on the subject, nor did I use them as a source. The relationship was never physical, but should have been made public to avoid the appearance of a conflict.
“I deeply regret that I did not do so immediately and apologize to those I disappointed, especially my colleagues in New York.”
Last month, Kennedy endorsed Trump — a move he made as he withdrew from the presidential race and one he said could prove “catastrophic” for his marriage.
Even before the sexting scandal, Hines faced mounting pressure from liberal Hollywood circles to publicly condemn her husband.
Earlier this month, the hate became so loud that Bill Maher stepped in to defend Hines against the “offensive posers on the… far left” who were “screaming” at her by the thousands.

Despite the backlash, Kennedy has stood up for his wife and has maintained that their marriage can withstand differing political positions.
“She’s a lifelong Democrat,” he told TMZ. “And the idea that I would support Donald Trump… was, like I said, something she never imagined, something she never wanted in her life.
“I think it causes her a lot of discomfort.”
