A Melbourne man couldn’t hold back the tears after winning $15 million in the Oz Lotto.
He was the lucky winner of the two Division 1 draws in the 1594 Oz Lotto draw, which was drawn on Tuesday.
The man checked his ticket early Wednesday morning and decided to go to work to distract himself from the overwhelming excitement of his victory.
“I can’t believe it. I woke up, scanned the ticket online and then just went to work, but I couldn’t think about anything else,” he said.
Now that he has $15 million to change his entire world, the newly minted multimillionaire says he wants to treat himself to an unforgettable trip through Europe.
“I’m going on vacation… somewhere in Europe,” he revealed. “It changes your life.”
His winning Division 1 entry was purchased at Seraglio Lotto in South Melbourne.

The winning numbers were 43, 35, 9, 38, 32, 8 and 3, while the additional numbers were 33, 22 and 46.
