Was Philippine also a victim of rape? At this point it is a “strong hypothesis”:

According to RTL information, the criminal brigade has not discovered at this time any material element allowing to affirm that the victim was raped (…) this is a strong hypothesis of the investigators in particular in view of the past of the suspect (perpetrator of a rape in 2019). On September 3, during this fourth and final hearing, during which Taha O. declared:

” I don’t understand why I’m still in the center. I want to leave France ,” the justice system made a U-turn. In the order consulted by us, the judge of liberties and detention acknowledged that the person concerned did not present ” the guarantees of effective representations likely to prevent the risk of seeing him evade his obligation “, that he ” does not have a passport “, that he ” cannot prove effective residence or stable accommodation ” and that despite several reminders, ” no response has been provided by the Moroccan authorities.”  The French authorities had been waiting since June for the green light from Morocco to send Taha O. back to his country of origin. The day after his release, the consular pass will be transmitted to the French authorities.

Who was Philippine?

Raised in a Catholic family with her five brothers and sisters , Philippine was involved in the life of the parish of Montigny-Voisins (Yvelines), particularly for the youth mass, and was a member of the Guides and Scouts of France. “She is very active, very kind and very proactive. She was always ready and available if there was a need to do anything or to motivate others,” one of the scout supervisors told Le  Figaro . “She was a very good student who loved reading. She was deeply kind. She was gentle and very discreet. She was not someone extravagant. She spent time with her family whenever she could,” added a student from her university.

The judicial investigation concerns in particular the offences of murder preceded, accompanied or followed by another crime, rape, theft and fraud, all in a state of legal recidivism. “The French judicial authorities will send an extradition request to the Swiss judicial authorities in order to have the person concerned handed over as quickly as possible,” the public prosecutor specified.
