Mike Tindall had to break up an innocent brawl between his two youngest children when they came to cheer on Zara at the Burghley Horse Trials today.
The former rugby player was joined by his daughters Mia, 10, Lena, 6, and son Lucas, 3, at Burghley House near Stamford, Lincolnshire on Saturday afternoon.
Mike, 45, was photographed carrying his youngest child through the park, before his six-year-old daughter clung to his arm to be lifted just inches off the grass.
The royal also posed for a photo with fans who spotted him on a family day out, including one taken by his eldest daughter, 10-year-old Mia.
The family were at Burghley House to watch Zara compete in the cross-country competition at the Burghley Horse Trials with her horse Class Affair.

Princess Anne’s daughter fell at Rolex Corners during Class Affair, which knocked her out of the competition. Fortunately, Zara and her horse were unharmed.
Later in the day, Zara and Mike’s three children clearly enjoyed their day out, eating ice cream and showing off their karate skills in the friends and family corner.
Mike was even seen spinning three-year-old Lucas in the air after the boy started fighting with his six-year-old sister Lena.
Zara’s husband Mike kept it casual in a white T-shirt and blue jeans at Burghley House, completing his outfit with a baseball cap and khaki backpack.
Lena and Lucas were also dressed casually for the day, while their older sister Mia was a mini version of her dad in jeans, a T-shirt and a baseball cap.
The Defender Burghley Horse Trials is an annual three-day event usually held in early September at Burghley House, near Stamford.
The Tindalls’ outing follows the launch of her raincoat collection by Zara, who praised her mother for teaching her the importance of “good quality clothing”.

The 43-year-old, who is often cited as the most fashionable royal, has collaborated with Musto and Fairfax & Favor to create a collection of coats, priced from £350 to £450.
The collection, called Odyssey, features “highly versatile” styles, including both long and short models suitable for any outdoor activity this fall and winter.
Zara, Princess Anne’s daughter, said the coats combine the strongest qualities of two of her favourite brands.

The mother of three also told The Telegraph that her mother, the Princess Royal, influenced her core values when choosing her clothes.
She said, “My mother taught me the importance of wearing good clothes that keep you warm and comfortable when you are outside.
‘As an athlete, I spend most of my time in nature. This is more important than ever to help me stay at my best.’
