Yamal cemented his reputation as one of the best young players in the world with his performances at Euro 2024, helping the Spanish side reach the top level.
The 17-year-old has already made over 50 appearances for Barcelona and is expected to have a memorable career.
And fans of a Premier League club were thrilled when they heard about his dream teammate.
When asked by Spanish radio station Radioestadio Noche (via City_Chief), Yamal replied: ‘Kevin De Bruyne’.

De Bruyne, widely regarded as one of the best midfielders of his generation, is entering the end of his career at Manchester City.
He has won everything with the Citizens and has been included in the FIFA FIFPRO World XI four times.
City fans took to social media en masse after hearing his comments, fantasising about the prospect of Yamal and De Bruyne feeding striker Erling Haaland.
De Bruyne was linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium last summer, with Saudi clubs being monitored.
