A wedding dress designer has caused a social media storm after accusing a popular influencer of not paying for her custom-made dress despite repeated reminders.

Cenderra Ca’Zanthia, the owner of Casze Atelier, claims that Colorado hairstylist Raylee Rukavina “stole” her intricately detailed wedding dress. She claims she failed to pay the remaining fees and blocked all communication between them.

Ca’Zanthia made the shocking accusation days before Rukavina’s big day in a now-viral TikTok, which also featured a short clip of the influencer laughing as she tried on the dress.

“Raylee has our dress and will not pay us the rest. It is a wedding dress and at this time she will not give it back or pay her rest so the dress is stolen. If anyone has any information on this Colorado bride please let us know!” the furious designer wrote.

In a later video, Ca’Zanthia explained that she had sent the rush dress to the hairdresser a few days before the wedding and had sent her the final invoice by email and text message.

The designer claimed that she attempted to contact Rukavina multiple times to collect her final payment, but did not hear back after the funds were delivered to the influencer.

Since then, Ca’Zanthia has launched a GoFundMe page to raise $12,500 to cover damages, including salaries, legal fees and overhead.

The designer explained that she needs the money to “fight back for possession of the custom-made dress and/or pay the remaining amount owed.”

The owner of the studio claims she was unable to contact the bride and her family, but Rukavina’s sister has denied the allegations and blames Ca’Zanthia for her lack of communication.

In a statement released following the influencer’s wedding to her husband David Wells, sister Mckenzie Tyner revealed that Rukavina had already paid for the majority of the costs.

‘[Raylee] 60 percent down payment. Her last fitting was canceled two days before their scheduled appointment. The designer also didn’t show up for the scheduled Zoom meeting after she canceled the last fitting,” she said. To distract.

The sister who supported her also said that Ca’Zanthia lied to the family about shipping the dress and gave a false tracking number, which resulted in the dress not being delivered in the wrong size until two days before the wedding.

Tyner also responded to Ca’Zanthia’s claim that the dress cost $10,000, saying instead that the full price was only $6,290, of which $3,774 had already been paid by the bride before the dress was made.

‘The bride and her mother tried to communicate with the designer, but there was no willingness from her side. They asked for a return label to send the dress back to the designer.

‘Understandably angry, the bride and her mother decided to postpone the whole affair until Monday so they could hastily find a dress for Raylee to walk down the aisle in.’

Sister Mckenzie Tyner later said the bride and her mother were forced to find a replacement dress after the original dress arrived in the wrong size. PICTURED: The bride wears a different dress down the aisle

The publication was able to contact sources related to Ca’Zanthia, who admitted that the bride had indeed paid a deposit for the dress, but that no Zoom call or additional fitting was ever scheduled.

Over the past week, Rukavina has had to disable all of her social media accounts and business pages due to the influx of comments about the situation.

Her husband David Wells has also since released a statement claiming that Ca’Zanthia received half the amount up front and that now that they have received the dress, efforts are being made to return it.

‘As most of you have probably heard, we are currently facing attacks on social media regarding my wife’s dress. This designer has gone way too far with this and is making life difficult. We did not steal this dress.

“The designer paid half before the dress arrived and we tried to send it back to her but she refuses to take it. Let alone we haven’t even used it and that’s the proof. I understand people are getting messages from all these people. I apologize and never thought this could happen but it happens every day with social media.

“Please don’t respond and just report them. We are in the process of hiring a lawyer to stop this nonsense. If you know us, we don’t steal and we are good people who got into a bad situation.”

Ca’Zanthia and Raylee have not yet responded to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.
