Trevoh Chalobah has shared his thoughts on Instagram about a Bible verse about suffering amid speculation over his future at Chelsea.

Fans have re-shared screenshots of his social media posts, expressing their condolences to the 25-year-old defender, who is reportedly feeling increasingly isolated at the club amid speculation that Chelsea managers want him to leave.

One fan questioned the morality of the Blues management’s approach, saying: ‘This is why I struggle to ‘support’ the club.

‘At what point is it immoral to do something like that when I think Chelsea are going to be sold or leave?’

Another simply added: ‘This hurts. He doesn’t deserve this.’

Chalobah’s news comes just days after it was revealed he has been banned from the club’s first-team training facilities as the club attempt to secure a move for their youth player.

He was also ruled out of the US pre-season tour this summer and must now train with the Under-21s.

Chalobah trained at Cobham under new head coach Enzo Maresca but was left at home, with the likes of Wesley Fofana, Axel Disasi, Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile and Levi Colwill being preferred by the Italian.

Mail Sport reported last month that Chalobah, who joined Chelsea at the age of eight and made 80 appearances for the club, feels he is being kicked out of Stamford Bridge.

And according to The TelegraphIn addition to training with Chelsea’s academy team, Chalobah is also not allowed to visit the first-team facilities at Cobham.

The report further states that Chalobah will remain at the youth building at the club’s training complex in Cobham until he agrees to leave.

The 25-year-old has not been seen with the first team since they returned from the US earlier this week.

The defender has been joined in the Under-21s by fellow Blues academy players Armando Broja and Romelu Lukaku, with Chelsea also looking to sell both strikers this summer.

It is believed that Chelsea see this as the best way to deal with unwanted players who have no future at the club, as they can focus on a transfer rather than giving them false hope.

Conor Gallagher suffered a similar fate before agreeing a £33.7million move to Atletico Madrid.

The report claims that Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are interested in a move for Chalobah, who turned down a move to Nottingham Forest last summer.

He spent most of last season injured, but managed to adapt to Mauricio Pochettino’s plans towards the end of the season and played a total of 17 games.

Meanwhile, Chalobah, whose contract expires in November 2022 with four years to go, is believed to have conducted himself professionally throughout the affair, with the club even imposing a £25million price tag on him.
