    A survey has revealed that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s divorce is the most traumatic celebrity split in Britain.

    About 17 percent of respondents said they were angry when rumors circulated in 2004 about an affair between Pitt and Angelina Jolie on the set of Mr And Mrs Smith.

    According to research firm Perspectus Global, the 1998 breakup between Bruce Willis and Demi Moore ranked second, leaving 16 percent of couples heartbroken.

    Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman’s 2001 breakup came in a close third at 15 percent.

    And a quarter also asked themselves questions about their own relationships afterwards.

    This summer, several of the country’s popular couples made headlines after breaking up.

    Love Island stars Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury announced their split earlier this month, shocking fans of the ITV show and 8 percent of respondents.

    Elsewhere, the split between former This Morning presenters Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes was voted the most devastating of the year in May, with 12 per cent of the vote.
