Gymnast Simone Biles appeared to attack former President Donald Trump on Friday.
“I love my black track,” she wrote after winning her second gold medal at the Paris Olympics, cementing her status as the most decorated American gymnast in history.
Trump has used the term “black job” several times, including during his controversial appearance before the National Association of Black Journalists in Chicago, where he argued that immigrants are taking away “black jobs.”
Trump was already being ridiculed online for his term, when a popular meme was created about Vice President Kamala Harris, who was the likely Democratic presidential nominee.
The meme shows an image of a smiling Harris walking through a curtain: “Did someone say ‘black job?’” — a suggestion that the top job in the White House fits that description.

Biles’ criticism comes after comments from Trump’s running mate JD Vance resurfaced. The Ohio Republican called the gymnast “weak” for withdrawing from the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo.
“I think it’s understandable that she was under tremendous pressure,” Vance said at the time.
“What I find so strange about this, and it reflects more on the media than it does on Simone Biles, is that we tried to turn a very tragic moment — Simone Biles leaving the Olympic team — into this act of heroism.”
“And I think it reflects poorly on our therapeutic society when we praise people not for their strong or heroic moments, but for their weakest moments.”
Vance added: ‘Being an athlete at that level is incredibly tough… a normal reaction at this point would be to say, ‘It’s just too bad she’s going through this. It’s too bad she quit.”
“But instead, I think our press has turned this into this weird therapeutic moment. ‘Let’s applaud her for doing this.’ And I think that’s where the real problem lies,” Vance said.
Biles was forced to withdraw from the Tokyo Games due to “twisties,” a form of mental block that can cause gymnasts to lose their spatial awareness while jumping, leading to dangerous accidents.
She has openly stated that her mental health takes priority and continues to push for therapy.
This week, she first helped Team USA win the gold medal in the All-Around team tournament, and on Thursday she won the gold medal in the All-Around individual tournament, making her the most decorated gymnast in U.S. history.
