Matthew Lawrence claims he matched with Rumer Willis on dating app Raya after his divorce from Cheryl Burke

Matthew Lawrence spoke candidly about his brief time on dating app Raya following his split from Cheryl Burke, 40.

‘I was [on it and] “You know the only person that can verify it is Rumer Willis, because we’ve been chatting on there,” he told his brothers Joey Lawrence and Andy Lawrence on their podcast Brotherly Love on August 23.

And the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis didn’t appreciate his reptile-themed biopic in Game of Thrones.

“She was there for a little while when she was single. I’m not kidding — and she laughed at my ‘father of dragons’ biography.”

He added: “This is 100 percent true. I literally used Raya for three weeks. I did it as a joke,” Matthew 44 explained.

‘I happened to know someone, because you have to be invited, you can’t just sign up.’

He continued: ‘The only person I met there was Rumer, and she laughed about the fact that I was the ‘father of dragons’. That was funny.’

His brothers didn’t believe him for a second and Andy picked up his phone to send Rumer a text.

But Rumer, 36, still didn’t respond when the episode ended, leaving his brothers wondering if the interaction had actually happened.

Matthew and his 40-year-old wife Cheryl Burke, a dancer on Dancing With the Stars, divorced in 2019 after three years of marriage.

Earlier this month, she spoke openly about the end of her marriage, claiming that her role as ‘breadwinner’ had caused problems in their three-year marriage.

She said she “learned you can’t buy love” during a performance at the Amy and TJ Podcast.

“I tried not to say it like that, I didn’t believe my ex-husband, but I would definitely say I was the breadwinner,” she explained. “I supported us, and I don’t think it’s black and white.”
