MAFS 2025: Actor and part time personal trainer Ryan is the latest groom confirmed to appear on series

The 12th season of Married At First Sight will return to screens next year and will feature some of the show’s most popular cast members to date.

And now Ny Breaking Australia can exclusively reveal that a genetically blessed groom named Ryan will appear in the series.

On his now private Instagram account, the Sydney man can be seen showing off his muscular body during various photo shoots.

Little else is known about him, but other photos shared to his account show him dressed as a New South Wales police officer for a small acting role on the set of a TV series.

His profiles on StarNow and TheRightFit, audition websites for actors and influencers, have since been deactivated.

Ryan is tipped to be one of the standout grooms of season 12, with producers delaying his entrance until the end of the bachelor party earlier this month.

Friends describe him as a “super nice guy” who has had bad luck in love and say he is “tired of all these dating apps”.

He is also extremely passionate about maintaining an active lifestyle and is a personal trainer.

Ryan is the third actor and influencer confirmed for the series.

Fans threaten to boycott 2025 series

Some viewers have already threatened to boycott the 2025 series after high-profile reality stars were cast, including The Real Love Boat star Paul Antoine and Bachelor star Sierah Swepstone.

Fans of the show vented their frustration on social media, accusing producers of recycling reality TV personalities instead of giving ordinary Australians a chance to find love.

“MAFS has lost its authenticity,” one disgruntled viewer wrote on Instagram.

“It’s about genuine people finding love, not more attention being paid to people who are already famous.”

Another fan commented: ‘I’m done with MAFS. Bringing in people like Paul and Sierah shows how desperate they are for ratings. I’m definitely boycotting this season.’

‘For the last time Australia wants to see real, genuine, ordinary people… not these types!! For God’s sake,’ wrote a third.

‘Why can’t they find people who actually want to find a partner? Not someone who’s looking for social media fame. So about seeing all these people who are just social climbers,’ wondered another.
