Shaughna Phillips shared a shocking selfie on Instagram on Saturday, admitting she was “really struggling” after undergoing Russian lip filler.
The 30-year-old former Love Island star took to social media to reveal she was suffering from severe swelling following the cosmetic procedure.
In a video posted to her Instagram Story, she explained: “It’s only right that I show you how bad they were.
‘Full disclosure, this wasn’t a surprise, this wasn’t how I had them done or anything. This was literally the Russian method where you swell up, but I swelled up.
‘In the photo below, the TV star is lying upright in her bed, her lips looking red and angry.

She captioned her post: “Guys I was really down..”
The Russian method involves injecting drops of filler vertically into the lip, instead of lines of filler under the lip line.
This method is thought to be good for building volume and height, and to create a pout once the swelling has gone down.
The blonde beauty had previously had her lips filled because she wanted to change her appearance.
She said: ‘I was hesitant about getting my lips dissolved because I honestly can’t remember what I look like without them!’
“But there’s more to life than just the size of your bloody lips. I’ll be back in 2 weeks and start all over again. This time I’ll do a little bit here and there so I can really get the shape right. I can’t wait.”
In a video she posted to her Instagram Story, she explained: “It’s a good thing I’m showing you how bad they were…”

Shaugha has previously spoken candidly about all the cosmetic procedures she’s undergone, including the liposuction she underwent to combat a condition that left her with “abnormal fat deposits” in her legs.
She told The Sun: ‘To be honest, all the liposuction I’ve had has been medically necessary, but maybe £25,000
‘I’ve had liposuction on my thighs and calves, and I had my boobs done years ago. It’s a lot of money, but this was just after Love Island, so I think I almost felt like I had to have it done.
“I felt like everyone was looking at me, but if I had known how painful it was, maybe I wouldn’t have done it.”
