Lauren Goodger is worried her daughter Larose could contract the ‘worst’ virus ever as the former TOWIE star discussed her health struggles on Sunday.

The 37-year-old TV personality shared on Instagram Stories that she is trying to recover from norovirus.

Lauren shared a photo while in the car with her two-year-old daughter, saying she is now completely exhausted and in pain all over, having been struggling with the disease all weekend.

Now that Lauren is feeling more like herself again, she admits she’s worried about passing it on to her toddler.

She wrote: ‘The norovirus lasted from Friday night to Saturday night and was honestly the worst thing you can ever experience when you have a toddler too. I am completely exhausted and my back muscles are sore from all the pushing but we got up and went outside today.

‘I was so happy that I felt normal.. just tired.. I hope the little girl doesn’t get it but I don’t understand why she doesn’t get it when she was on top of me the whole time and felt so bad.

I just want to say that I have heard all sorts of horror stories. Like my grandchildren having it for 5 days and being in the hospital, or being bedridden for 8 days and all sorts of things happening, or being so sick for 3 weeks and having to rush to the hospital.

‘I’m so sorry for anyone who has gone through this and I hope everyone is feeling better. But honestly it was horrible to read when I was so sick!!

‘literally put the phone down and felt so bad I stopped reading them.. but thank you to everyone who wished me well xxx’

Lauren continued to express her concerns, writing in another post, as reported by OK! magazine: ‘Now I’m just waiting for my three-year-old to get it. This is going to be the hardest part, when she’s sick my anxiety is through the roof. I hate seeing my baby sick, especially when I’m alone.’

Her latest virus comes just days after Lauren revealed in an update with her fans last week that she is suffering from the “most painful” health issues.

Lauren shared on Instagram that she is struggling with a painful hernia that is causing her to have a swollen belly. Lauren is desperate for things to get back to ‘normal’.

Lauren uploaded a photo of her painful belly and shared: ‘My hernia. I look and feel like I’m 9 months pregnant, honestly the most painful thing!

Lauren shared on Instagram that she’s been struggling with a painful hernia that’s left her with a swollen belly. Lauren wants things to “get back to normal.”

‘I am so swollen and my belly button is literally inside out. The red ring is burning hot on my skin!’

“I’m praying that it goes away and goes back to normal once the antibiotics kick in.”

Lauren initially shared a statement with her followers apologizing for the slow response due to her health condition.

She then explained that she developed a small hernia during her “traumatic birth” of her late daughter Lorena in July 2022. Doctors told her it was “nothing to worry about” and that surgery was not necessary.

But Lauren said she woke up two days ago with “pain and swelling,” which eventually got worse, leaving her in a lot of pain and “a lot of discomfort.”

After a visit to the doctor, Lauren said the swelling has since become infected, which has led to “a few other issues.” The TV star is currently taking antibiotics and hopes surgery won’t be necessary.

In a second slide on her Instagram Stories, Lauren added that she is now on a “major health kick” to aid her recovery. The mother emphasized that she does not want surgery, as she fears it will be difficult to support her daughter Larose during the two-week recovery period.

She continued to insist that she would resume her fitness training once her hernia healed and that she would follow a strict diet for health reasons.

She concluded, “I really want [to] clear this infection and get back to living. Right now I’m scared and in pain and just watching for signs that could be dangerous.’

Hernias are common and occur when part of an organ becomes displaced and pushes through the structure, creating a bulge in the skin.

In women, we often see paraumbilical hernias — or “umbilical hernias” — which occur just above the belly button and are usually the result of a natural weakening of the abdominal wall after the muscles of the abdomen have been stretched during pregnancy. Also common are incisional hernias, where a previous surgery has taken place.

Earlier this week, Lauren shared an update about her gym with her Instagram followers. She had been out of the gym for three and a half weeks due to health concerns, but that was not announced at the time.

The beauty shared a mirror selfie and said she felt “strong” after her first day back at the gym.

Lauren wore a loose-fitting black T-shirt and white shorts as summer temperatures rose across the UK.

The TV personality had her hair tied in a loose ponytail and went makeup-free for almost a month.

She captioned the post, “After 3.5 weeks of zero workouts and diet… today was my first day back and I felt strong! I wasn’t sure how I would do but I’m back!! “

‘I had a health issue for a while. I trained most days for 2.5 months, but then it went back to 0 because of the stress of life and other distractions. And then I have 6 weeks of vacation!’

‘Day 1, every day, always come back and start again!’

    WHAT IS A HERNIA?

A hernia is a common problem that occurs when an internal body part pushes through a weak spot in the muscle or surrounding tissue wall.

It can develop between your chest and your hips and cause swelling or a lump in your abdomen or groin. In many cases, surgery is needed.

If you think you have a hernia, you should see your doctor.

If you develop the following symptoms, you should go to the emergency room:

    • Sudden, severe pain
    • To be sick
    • Difficulty pooping or passing gas
    • The hernia becomes hard or tender, or cannot be pushed back in

    These symptoms may mean that:

    • The blood supply to part of an organ or tissue trapped in the hernia is cut off (strangulation)
    • A piece of intestine has entered the hernia and is blocked (obstruction)

A strangulated hernia and a blocked bowel are medical emergencies and should be treated as soon as possible.
