Chelsea’s new signing Marc Guiu has been criticised by fans for his ’embarrassing’ mistakes against Servette in the Europa Conference League.
Guiu, who joined Chelsea from Barcelona this summer, made his Chelsea debut after coming on as a substitute against Manchester City in the Premier League last weekend.
The 18-year-old thought he was scoring his first goal for Chelsea when he picked out Servette goalkeeper Jeremy Frick.
However, Frick managed to claw back and stop Guiu’s attempt, after which the attacker was able to stop another attempt.
Remarkably, Frick again stopped Guiu, who became extremely frustrated.

Chelsea won the first leg 2-0, thanks to a penalty from Christopher Nkunku, with Noni Madueke scoring.
One fan called Guiu’s mistake “embarrassing,” while another criticized him, writing, “Marc Guiu missed the babysitter.”
Another suggested Guiu should be loaned out. They wrote: ‘Marc Guiu with a mistake that should be loaned out immediately.’
Furthermore, another Chelsea fan compared Guiu to former Blues striker Alvaro Morata.
They wrote: ‘Marc Guiu could be our new morata’.
Another user said: ‘Marc Guiu …..is this a joke’.
Guiu has also been compared to another former Chelsea striker, Timo Werner. One fan wrote: ‘Marc Guiu studied Timo Werner’s lyrics, what a man’.
