Carley Elbert, 32, was filmed rapping about “spitting rhymes” while dancing on a dock near the Flagship hotel as the Atlantic City skyline lit up in the background on July 27.

Just six days later, Elbert was found at around 4:41 a.m. on a nearby pier wearing only a bikini with a fatal gunshot wound to the head, police said.

A second victim, 29-year-old Kamille Stewart, was found next to Elbert on the dock. She had gunshot wounds but was still conscious.

Stewart was rushed to AtlantiCare Medical Center for treatment. A preliminary investigation revealed that both New Jersey women had been shot in the head. Three men have been arrested, but no motive has been released.

Elbert recently went into remission from mastocytosis, a rare condition that occurs when your body produces too many mast cells. Mast cells are part of your immune system and help protect against allergens and bacteria.

An online profile from earlier in her acting career notes that she worked as an extra on television series such as “General Hospital” and “The Elizabeth Smart Story.”

Elbert’s mother, Nancy Elbert, was devastated by her daughter’s tragic end.

“I hope you rot in hell. I will see this through to the end for justice for my Carley,” Nancy told WPVI, sending a message to the suspects. “She did not deserve to die this way.”

Three Philadelphia men have been arrested in connection with the killings, but police have not said why they believe the women were killed.

Elbert often seemed to be in trouble and worse off in her recent social media posts.

Atlantic County authorities announced Friday that Gregg Page, a 34-year-old Philadelphia resident, has been charged with murder, attempted murder and related weapons offenses.

Brothers Ryan Schenck, 30, and Ramir Schenck, 27, also of Philadelphia, were charged with hindering the apprehension of a suspect in connection with the case.

CCTV footage provided by the Flagship Hotel shows a car driving onto the boardwalk just after 2am. Five people then got out of the car and walked along the boardwalk for around 20 minutes before only two of them turned back and drove away.

A criminal complaint obtained by Action News alleges that Page stole a car from one of the victims and then fled.

Surveillance footage reportedly shows Page driving the stolen car, then abandoning the car at another location.

According to investigators, Page was then captured by his accomplices and taken to Philadelphia.

Police were able to trace Elbert’s cell phone to 6100 Mulberry Street in Philadelphia.

All three suspects are being held in Philadelphia and are awaiting extradition to New Jersey.
