De Grey, Western Australia: Toddler dead and five adults injured in horror rollover crash on remote highway

    A toddler has been killed and five adult passengers slightly injured in a horrific single-vehicle accident on a rural highway.

    Emergency services received reports of a Holden Captiva on an access road to the Great Northern Hwy in De Grey, east of Port Hedland in Western Australia. The car left the road and crashed and rolled at around 10.50pm on Wednesday.

    A three-year-old girl was found seriously injured and died at the scene.

    Three men and two women who were also in the car were only slightly injured.

    Major crash investigators are on site investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
