A bizarre new reality show featuring a cast of transgender people has shocked viewers, with many calling for better representation of the LGBTQ community.
The Gworls Club, produced by Ray J, follows a group of outspoken transgender people living together in a Los Angeles mansion.
A trailer for the series features several scenes in which the women violently come to blows, ripping off each other’s wigs and hurling insults at each other.
Often the fights are so physical that a team of security guards has to intervene.
In an unbelievable scene, two transgender people tell another cast member, named “Mangina,” that she is a “drag queen” and not really trans.

“There’s a difference! Trans, drag,” one screams, while her friend adds, “Mangina, look at you — ew!”
Many viewers have been disappointed by the nature of the show, with the cast not only being exclusively transgender, but also being made up of mostly trans women of color.
“We need better for the culture. Can these ladies visit a hospital and the hungry children?” asked one fan.
“I was hoping for a show that showed beautiful trans people overcoming their issues and coming out on top… this is just ghetto fighting nonsense with no point,” said another.
“I really wanted to be here but I definitely didn’t expect this. I thought it would be so much better. I don’t like how you guys portray trans women,” someone else added.
‘I will never watch any show that shows women fighting like animals. Is this what we think of ourselves? Shameful!!’ someone responded.
Another wrote: ‘With all the negative shit going on against trans women (especially politically) why would we want sisters to fight each other? Fight the system and vote. Won’t be watching.’

Despite the negative reactions, a handful of fans have supported The Gworls Club.
“I can’t wait, this is gonna be epic! Thank you all for opening doors for our trans sisters,” one fan cheered.
“I’m totally ready for this,” said another, while another wrote: “I’m definitely going to watch this!”
The Gworls Club stars a number of familiar faces, including reality star Sidney Starr, who has appeared in Love & Hip-Hop and the Baddies franchise.
Australian actress Daniielle Alexis, best known for her role in the prison drama Wentworth, has also been cast in the controversial series.
Ray J recently defended The Gworls Club during an appearance on Fox Soul’s TEA POISON.
“Yes, there is a lot of fighting and drama in every series, but there is also a storyline that leads you to something that can be inspiring or moving,” he explained.
“You can even learn from the mistakes made on the shows and grow from them.”
He added: “We really care about the talent, their stories and how it ends.”

Earlier this month, House of Heat premiered on Tubi, which follows the lives and careers of OnlyFans creators and porn stars.
The cheeky series doesn’t hold back on anything, as the cast invites the cameras into their rooms while hosting X-rated streams for their subscribers.
The cast includes a single mother who wants to be a “role model” for her toddler, a gay couple who work in the porn industry and a fitness model who sells his used underwear to the highest bidder.
Joseline’s Cabaret follows former stripper and reality star Joseline Hernandez as she puts together a live striptease show featuring a raucous cast of exotic dancers and sex workers.
In one episode, Hernandez has sex with her music producer fiancé Ballistic Beats in the bathtub.

The TLC network also made headlines with its own shocking reality show, MILF Manor.
The first season of the bizarre series followed women over 40 as they dated each other’s sons in a Mexican villa.
Meanwhile, the British reality series Open House: The Great Sexperiment about polyamorous couples caused a stir in Britain after it aired an orgy involving 15 people.
The series saw committed couples come to a luxury retreat to test whether opening up their relationships and having sex with other people could “strengthen their bond.”
The Gworls Club premieres July 8 on The Tronix Network.
