Kennedy family heir Jack Schlossberg may be Vogue’s new writer, but his salary and job requirements may come as a surprise.

Schlossberg, a Yale and Harvard Law School graduate who bears a striking resemblance to grandfather John F. Kennedy, was recruited by the magazine as political correspondent for last week’s presidential election campaign.

The announcement was accompanied by a series of photographs of the fledgling lawyer, including one showing him lying on the floor next to a stack of photocopies of his face.

While many would expect the prestigious job to come with a hefty salary, in reality the 31-year-old is paid a staggeringly low amount.

According to an article in The New York Times, the humorous Democrat has reportedly been asked to make up to four Instagram videos a month of his reactions to “major news moments” in the election cycle. Puck Newsletter.

The publication also claims that Schlossberg is paid a typical freelancer’s rate: just $250 per article and is allowed to write as many pieces as he wants.

However, many believe he can negotiate his contract, given the amount of attention he has given to the lifestyle magazine.

When Jack announced his nomination, he indicated that he would like to follow in his famous grandfather’s footsteps and enter politics, while also indicating that he was undecided on whether President Joe Biden is fit to run for re-election.

“I’m inspired by my family’s legacy of public service,” he said. “I take that very seriously and I want to contribute in my own way.”

“I have big dreams, but I also know that I’m trying to make a positive impact today.”

When asked if he has a “message for people who doubt President Biden’s fitness to run in the upcoming election” given growing concerns about his health, Schlossberg, a staunch liberal, urged people to look past the candidate and vote for his party instead.

“What people decide is their business,” he said.

‘But the choice you actually make about the government you want is still the same today as it was a month ago. It’s worth going to vote even if you’re not enthusiastic about the candidate, so that things don’t get worse.

“I understand that this is not an appealing message to people, but I still think voting Democratic is ultimately the right way to go.”

Not surprisingly, Schlossberg made no mention of his uncle, RFK Jr., who is running as an independent. The budding politician has publicly criticized him in the past.

In May, he shared videos on Instagram in which he called RFK Jr. a “fucking dick” and said he “goes way back” to Biden’s political rival Donald Trump.

He told Vogue that people shouldn’t take his social media posts too seriously: “I’m just having a good time.”

“I’m a funny, crazy guy. I’m a silly goose – a silly goose trying, just trying, to get the truth out.”

But he added: ‘I try to say things that I think are important. People notice when people are authentic and don’t have an agenda.

“I think very deeply and critically about what I want to say. This election year is so important to me, and that’s why I try to get out more.

“This is a pivotal moment in history. It’s an exciting time to be alive and to be able to vote.

“I want to send that vibe out into the world, because there’s a lot of negative energy around politics. I also want to bring some positivity out, because this is really important.”
