Stephen Baldwin shared a cryptic message after his pregnant daughter Hailey Bieber revealed she’s no longer “super close” with her family.
The 58-year-old actor, who shares Hailey (27) with his wife Kennya Baldwin, shared a video of himself smiling at the camera, then saying, “I love you” and staring into the distance.
He captioned the video: ‘Today staying positive is a choice!! so I’m trusting in the power of joy, peace and happiness. And if anyone hasn’t told you today: I LOVE YOU.’
Fans were quick to criticize the timing of the video’s release, with one writing, “Unfortunately your daughter doesn’t love you. [sic] ’embarrass her.’ While another typed: ‘Your daughter is ashamed of you.’
Others praised the star for spreading positivity, with one writing: “I needed this. Thanks mate!” and “Stephen, that felt really sincere and heartfelt… so I’m going to send some back to you straight away and sprinkle some positivity sprinkles on top.”

Hailey is also the niece of actor Alec Baldwin, who stars in a new reality TV show with his wife Hilaria. Her cousin is Guess model Ireland Baldwin, whose mother is movie star Kim Basinger.

“I’m not super close to my family at this point in my life because I feel like I’m very independent. I’m my own individual now and I’ve built my own family,” she said of her marriage to pop king Justin.
But the blonde added that she has “lovely” memories of her childhood.
She told the magazine: ‘I had a pretty normal childhood. Obviously I come from the family I come from, and I’ve always recognised that it was different.
‘But when I look back on my childhood and how I grew up, I have very beautiful and precious memories.’
The founder of Rhode began building her career on the runway in her late teens, realizing that this was a time when she had to learn to stand on her own two feet while all her friends were off to college.

Meanwhile, Hailey revealed that she and Peaches hitmaker Justin, 30, just want to enjoy the time they have together until their little one arrives.
She said, ‘In the beginning [of pregnancy]It was super emotional for me. Like, ‘I love this person so much.
“How can I bring anyone else into this? I’m trying to absorb these days of Justin and me, just the two of us.”
Earlier this year, Baldwin publicly asked for prayers for Hailey and son-in-law Justin in an Instastory, which sparked concern from fans.
The Usual Suspects alumnus has reposted a message video of Justin singing, shared by Victor Marx, founder of All Things Possible Ministries, with the caption: “Christians, as you think of Justin and Hailey, please take a moment to say a short prayer for them, that they may have wisdom, protection, and closeness to the Lord.”
The evangelist wrote that his wife Eileen Marx and Hailey’s mother Kennya “often pray together” for the couple.
“People in high-visibility positions face special challenges, and the enemy doesn’t want them to get closer to Jesus,” Victor wrote.
