Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix, the daughter of Fred Sirieix, won a bronze medal on Wednesday morning in the Olympic final in the women’s 10m synchronized in Paris.

The First Dates star is in the French capital to cheer on his daughter, and she performed on the big stage alongside her partner Lois Toulson.

After two good dives at the start of the competition, Spendolini-Sirieix and Toulson failed on their third dive, leaving them to catch up.

But after starting the final round in fourth place, they produced their best dive of the competition to beat the Canadian duo and take the final spot on the podium.

Sirieix watched from the edge of the pool, pumping his fists in the air in joy as the final result was announced.

Meanwhile, Spendolini-Sirieix and Toulson burst into tears and hugged each other after keeping their spirits up to win a medal.

China got the gold, while North Korea got the silver.

Spendolini-Sirieix finished seventh in the women’s 10m platform final in Tokyo but has since won prizes on the World, European and Commonwealth stages.

The 19-year-old can now add an Olympic medal to her collection, and her famous dad couldn’t be prouder.

Her diving partner Toulson is in a relationship with Team GB diver Jack Laugher, who won a gold medal in Rio eight years ago. He was in the stands cheering on his girlfriend.

Laugher came down from the stands to give Toulson a kiss after her remarkable performance.

He will be in action in the coming days as he hopes to win his fourth Olympic medal, having won gold, silver and bronze at the last two Games.

Spendolini-Sirieix and Toulson claimed the third medal for the British team in the diving in Paris, following in the footsteps of Tom Daley and Noah Williams who won silver in the men’s 10m synchronised final, after Yasmin Harper and Scarlett Mew Jensen won bronze in the women’s 3m synchronised final.
