Nicki Minaj fans who attended the rapper’s ‘disgraceful’ concert in Dublin are demanding their money back after she turned up 90 minutes late and performed for less than an hour.

The 41-year-old star, who is originally from Trinidad and Tobago but grew up in Queens, New York, was scheduled to take the stage at Malahide Castle after 8pm on Saturday night.

However, the Starships singer reportedly didn’t show up until 10pm, angering her 20,000 fans who had been waiting in the rain at the outdoor venue.

According to local media, Nicki’s set lasted less than an hour, including 10-15 minutes for several costume changes.

Tickets for the rapper’s first show in Dublin since 2015 cost €90 (standard price). She has not given an explanation for her late arrival on stage.

After the ‘disastrous’ performance, fans expressed their disappointment at X and demanded that the organizers refund the full amount.

One of them was furious: ‘The million dollar question is whether you have enough respect for your fans to be on time.

‘Malahide Castle was an absolute disgrace. 1.5 hours late [for a] ’50 minute show.’

Another added: ‘I have absolutely no respect for Nicki Minaj after what happened at Malahide Castle last night.’

A third also noted that some fans left before Nicki even came on stage because they no longer had faith that the rapper would come.

They wrote: ‘Crow leaves Malahide Castle because Nicki Minaj won’t bother to come on stage. What a disgrace.’

Meanwhile, a fourth Ticketmaster requested a refund, saying Nicki’s behavior had been “unacceptable.”

The fan tagged the official Ticketmaster X account and said: ‘I’m wondering if there will be a refund for the Nicki Minaj concert in Malahide last night as she turned up two hours late and played a 30 minute set. Paid €300+ for tickets, just not acceptable.’

FEMAIL has contacted MCD Productions, the concert organizer, for comment.

Nicki has not acknowledged the criticism on her social media, instead posting several videos and photos from the performance on Instagram and X.

One fan responded by saying she would let Ireland down with the performance.

Another responded to the ‘misleading’ posts, adding: ‘I love her music, I was excited to see her in person. She left 20,000 people standing in the rain until almost 10pm in a venue that has a 10.30pm curfew.

‘There were multiple emails from the promoters confirming that she would be on stage at 8:20pm and that doors would open at 4pm.

“It was the worst show I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen a lot of them – big and small – in the 20-plus years I’ve been going to concerts.”

Following her performance in Dublin, Nicki cancelled her festival appearance in Romania on Sunday due to ‘security concerns’.

In a statement, the rapper said she had been warned about “protests in the area” at the Saga Festival in Bucharest and that she had to make “good decisions” as a mother.

Her X-message stated: ‘Out of concern for the well-being of our team and myself, I have been advised by my security team not to travel to the Romanian festival tonight due to safety concerns due to protests in the area.

“I look forward to seeing you all at another time.”

However, the star said she is “really excited to see [her] fans when she performs at the Wireless Festival in London on Friday.

In May, Nicki missed her performance at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester after being arrested at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam on suspicion of drug offences.

Despite all the publicity surrounding her arrest, over 23,000 ticket holders were allowed to enter and take their seats, where they waited until they were told the performance was being postponed.

Video footage taken inside the arena showed fans booing and shouting after the announcement, with organisers saying they were “deeply disappointed by the inconvenience this has caused”.

Minaj’s fans, who are collectively known as Barbz, have criticised the bosses of the “cursed” music venue for letting them enter and spend money despite the gig being cancelled.

One fan told MailOnline she was ‘absolutely devastated’ that the concert had been cancelled. ‘It’s not like the tickets were cheap,’ Alesha said. ‘We spent an absolute fortune to be there tonight, let alone the travel and the outfits we bought.’
