    Costco, Walmart and Target have all confirmed that their stores will be open as normal this holiday season

    Costco has confirmed that all of its stores will be closed on the federal holiday.

    However, competing wholesalers such as Sam’s Club and BJ’s Wholesale Club remain open.

    Walmart is open from 6am to 11pm throughout the holiday.

    Target, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Kroger and Publix and most other national chains remain open.

    Other branches, such as Aldi and Whole Foods, have adjusted opening hours, so check their website to see when your local branch is open.

    Trader Joe’s is open, but all stores close at 5pm local time.

    Restaurant chains

    Those who prefer to be taken care of during the holiday are in luck: all major restaurant chains are open as usual.
