Hoda Kotb suffers on-air wardrobe malfunction while hosting Olympics coverage in Paris – before being forced to use a STAPLE to salvage her glamorous look

Hoda Kotb suffered a massive wardrobe malfunction Tuesday morning as she continued to host Today live from Paris ahead of the 2024 Olympics

Presenter Hoda Kotb suffered a major wardrobe malfunction today as she hosted the 2024 Olympic Games morning show live from Paris. However, the men’s triathlon had to be postponed due to the water quality of the Seine.

Hoda, 59, was live on air with her co-host, Savannah Guthrie, on Tuesday when she experienced her own Parisian drama when the yellow summer dress she was wearing split in the side, just below her chest, nearly forcing her to change her entire outfit.

But one of Today’s personal stylists, Kaitlin Vickery, came to the rescue and was filmed using a stapler to stitch together the mother-of-two’s chic midi dress in seconds.

Hoda quickly adjusted the matching yellow belt on the dress, gave Kaitlin a high-five and returned to her hosting duties, along with her good friend Savannah, 52.

She posted a video clip of the hilarious moment on Instagram, writing, “Wardrobe malfunction – nothing a stapler can’t fix! Thanks @kaitlinvictory.”

And her 2.5 million followers immediately responded to the post.

“Great trick,” said one person, while another admitted, “Teacher, the stapler always works!”

“I like how you think, ma’am!” wrote a third fan, while a fourth joked, “@kaitlinvictory gold medal for you.”

Referring to Hoda, someone else commented, “The most realistic person! I love this!!,” and another kindly added, “She’s the real deal. I love her spirit.”

The TV presenter is undoubtedly having the best time of her life in Paris and got the chance to meet some of Team USA’s athletes on Tuesday, before she, Savannah and co-host Craig Melvin welcomed Ina Garten to their temporary studio in the French capital.

The trio got the chance to feast on fresh bread and French cheese, personally selected by 76-year-old Ina, before viewers got to see Hoda and Savannah, dressed as cancan dancers, as they interacted with the cast of Moulin Rouge.

As the duo donned the red, white and blue pleated skirts, Savannah groaned that they were “heavy,” while Hoda admitted she couldn’t breathe in them.

The ladies then got the chance to take the stage and attempted the all-important high kicks, but it didn’t quite go to plan, as Hoda joked, “This is so easy!”

When two dancers told Hoda and Savannah that part of their performance includes the “iconic cancan cry,” the two presenters felt compelled to make some noise, as Hoda claimed afterward, “It’s actually liberating!”

Later that day, Hoda and Savannah went to see Moulin Rouge with Craig and Al Roker. They even met the cast backstage before the show.

The foursome also welcomed three dancers to the show on Tuesday morning, interviewing them live in front of the Eiffel Tower, joking that Hoda and Savannah were ready to join them on stage for a real performance.

“You guys are incredible dancers and athletes and amazing personalities, we had such a great time with you!” Savannah told them, while Hoda praised one of the dancers, named Ali, for being an “excellent guide.”
