Travis Kelce was furious and pushed his own Chiefs teammate after a late hit on Kadarius Toney during training camp.
Toney caught a pass from Patrick Mahomes and then dodged several defenders before being picked off by George Karlaftis.
The receiver fell to the ground and a minor commotion ensued as Toney threw the ball to Karlaftis, while Mahomes ran to where the play ended and appeared to say something.
However, Kelce escalated the situation as he punched Karlaftis in the helmet and then shoved the 23-year-old player.
Others intervened to separate the two before the situation got worse.

This isn’t the first time Kelce has been involved in a physical altercation during Chiefs training camp. Last year, he punched teammate Jack Cochrane during a training drill.
That episode also resulted from a late goal, when Cochrane tried unsuccessfully to knock the ball loose after Kelce scored a touchdown.
He later apologized on X, writing, “I need to be a better teammate, I need to be a better leader… it’s that simple.”
Kelce, 34, spent much of the summer working while traveling around Europe following girlfriend Taylor Swift, also 34, on her Eras Tour with family and friends.
But before he turned his attention back to football, Kelce enjoyed every moment he spent with the 14-time Grammy winner.
A source said PEOPLE how hard it was for Travis to leave Swift in Europe while he moved back to the United States.
“Travis’ last few concerts have been double,” an insider says of Kelce’s trip to Germany.
“They knew their time together was almost over and he made sure to spend every minute he could with Taylor,” the insider adds.
This isn’t the first time Kelce has gotten into a physical altercation during Chiefs training camp.

Although Swift and Kelce’s busy schedules often keep them in different cities, the duo takes every opportunity to spend time together between concerts and games.
“It’s definitely hard being apart, but they’re doing everything they can to make it work and stick together,” the source shared. “They’re so in love and very, very happy together. All their friends and family can see it.”
Still, Kelce, who also used his off-season to film Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity and Ryan Murphy’s upcoming series Grotesquerie, is “back in football mode,” according to another insider.
“His team and the Chiefs remain a top priority,” the source added as they prepare for a third consecutive season.
