And Kate Walsh looked unrecognisable as she arrived on set in Sydney this week to film her upcoming six-part ABC and Screen Australia comedy series Optics.
The star, who is best known for her roles in Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice, has traded in her signature red locks for a short, blonde bob haircut.
As the actress exited her trailer on Monday, she looked dramatic, wearing black-rimmed glasses and several warm layers of clothing.
She braved the cold and stayed warm in a black puffer jacket over another fleece sweater, plus black sweatpants and bright orange socks, paired with black Birkenstock sandals.
The actress appeared to be talking to a crew member or trying to get their attention, and was later seen walking around the set with a delicious meal.
Kate was later seen stepping out of her caravan wearing a cream knitted scarf.

Kate has settled into her new life in PerthWestern Australia, after finding love with her Australian boyfriend.
The actress moved to the remote state almost four years ago after becoming engaged to the Western Australian farmer.

She recently shared that she has fallen in love with the relaxed lifestyle in Australia and is glad she lives in Perth.
‘I really love Western Australia…I think nature here surpasses everything. It drives me,’ she said news.com.au.
“I like the slowness. It’s really good for me. And then you go back abroad and you’re like, ‘Oh my god. People are crazy,’” she added.
Walsh said she often flew to America to film and then returned to Australia when she could spend more time with her fiancé.

“I feel really lucky that I can go back to LA for a little bit, go to work and then come back here and make the most of my life.”
“I needed a more balanced life. And then I fell in love with an Aussie, and here I am. I love it. I’m so grateful for it,” she added.
The California resident is said to have met Andrew from Nixon Farming while on a cruise just before the start of the coronavirus pandemic in early 2020.
According to their website, the Nixon family has been farming primarily malting barley and rapeseed in the Moora/New Norcia area of Western Australia for almost 100 years.
This is Kate’s second wedding. In 2010, she ended her 15-month marriage to Day Shift executive producer Alex Young.
The showbiz couple officially split in 2008. They cited the ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the break-up, which was a favorite among celebrities.
