A smitten Travis Kelce admits he’s proud to call Taylor Swift his “lady” as the Kansas City Chiefs star lifts the lid on their whirlwind romance.
Kelce and Swift have been dating for almost a year, with the pop sensation’s first appearance at Arrowhead for one of its NFL games last September publicly confirming the relationship.
Since then, the world’s most talked-about celebrity couple has gone from strength to strength; enjoying many outings and evenings together, meeting the families and supporting each other in their respective areas.
Last weekend, Kelce was in London for Swift’s sold-out Eras Tour concert at Wembley Stadium, and he even joined his girlfriend onstage at Sunday’s show.
And during a performance at the Bussin’ With The Boys podcastthe Chiefs tight end revealed what it’s like dating the most famous singer in the world.

This week, Kelce revealed what it’s like dating the most famous pop star in the world
“You want to keep things private, but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything. That’s my girl, you know what I mean? That’s my lady, so it’s like…I’m proud of that,” Kelce said.
“I’m not sitting here trying to juggle the question, ‘How can I keep this hidden?’ You just don’t want to let everyone into your personal life and comment on it, knowing that everything she does makes headlines.”
Considering they’re both all-time greats in their own industries, Kelce and Swift have dominated headlines since their romance first blossomed last year, with the loved-up couple drawing attention from around the world.
Even for Travis, widely considered the best tight end in NFL history, the increased attention that dating Taylor brought came as a major shock.
However, Kelce says it was his girlfriend’s ability to stay grounded despite her superstar status that made him fall for her.
“She’s very self-aware, but at the same time… she’s very self-aware. She understands these types of situations and I think that’s why I really started to fall for her, how genuine she is around friends and family,” he revealed.

“It can get crazy for someone with so much attention and she keeps it so cool and cool and I can definitely admire it.”
About the most surprising part of dating Swift, Kelce continued, “[Paparazzi] has been the craziest thing. Definitely pulling up to the house, it’s just random, I don’t know…
“It’s a different demographic than the NFL, so it was cool to delve into that and see her following and all that. It’s been fun because there are a lot more kids involved in the game and the Chiefs fans have become a lot of her fans. And her fans have become Chiefs fans, so I’ve had fun with every aspect of it.
“But when you’re at home, you want privacy, and you don’t always get that.”
