SIGNED: BBMzansi star, Yolanda, has become Multichoice channel, M-Net, brand ambassador

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that BBMzansi star, Yolanda, has become Multichoice channel, M-Net, brand ambassador.

Taking to social media, popular South African tabloid, P.K, revealed that 5 BBMzansi stars from season 4 have been chosen to become brand ambassador for (M-Net).

Information reads: “Double standards mars good move by MultiChoice

The broadcaster has announced that five of #BBMzansi Season 4 contestants have been chosen as brand ambassadors for MultiChoice (M-Net) channels.

Great move and commendable in keeping the former housemates in the public eye and have them earn a living.

The only problem is Yolanda being one of five.

The inclusion of Yoli sends a very concerning message. Yoli was disqualified for a transgression that Bravo B also committed. It was a serious issue hence measures were taken to disqualify both.

“Now, having Yolanda be a brand ambassador for the channel, while Bravo B has not been afforded the same reprieve in his punishment, reeks of preferential treatment.
I believe in contrition and second chances. I don’t believe both Bravo B and Yolanda should be condemned forever. To err is human, and people learn and grow.

“I’m a Yoli fan, but I gotta be honest… this diminishes the stance MultiChoice took on sexual consent issues.
Having them both would have made more sense because one would hope their redemption is part of campaign. But now the question is; Why Yolanda and not Bravo B?

“I share this of course with no knowledge of internal plans, maybe the brand has other things they are planning to work on with Bravo B and the others, but TODAY, the optics of the ambassadors announcement does not look good and screams ‘double standards’.
Hopefully there is a bigger plan above my pay grade at play here.”
