RIPPED OFF VIDEO: Infonavit workers destroyed LGBTQ flag outside company as order from Rafael Riva Palacio Pontones during Pride rainbow month

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Infonavit workers destroyed LGBTQ flag outside company as order from Rafael Riva Palacio Pontones during Pride rainbow month.

An act of homophobia that occurred in a building of the Institute of the National Housing Fund for Workers (Infonavit) , has generated controversy on social networks for occurring in the middle of LGBT pride month and for the peculiar choice of words by Rafael Riva Palacio Pontones, leader of the institute’s union, who ordered a group of members to remove a banner that identifies sexual diversity, considering it “unworthy.”

Carlos Martínez Velázquez , general director of Infonavit, shared on Tuesday on homophobia and discrimination. The union leader of our Institution Infonavit, called on some of his members to break with the flags that we put up every June during pride month. “After 5 years, this is the first time he has reached this point ,” he wrote.

In another video that circulated on the same social network, Rafael Riva Palacio Pontones addresses a group of people who witnessed the incident and explains his reasons for ordering the blanket to be removed:

“What they are doing seems to me to be unworthy because they can put the Infonavit logo. I don’t agree that here, when América won, they put up an América Bicampeones banner. Don’t tell me that it is ‘the day of this’, ‘the day of another’, the ‘day of the hereafter’. This identifies us all, what is it about? And how many times they want to put it on, as many times we are going to remove it,” he expressed.
