A massive fire has engulfed a factory in Sydney’s south-west.
The fire on Fitzpatrick St in Revesby is sending large plumes of black smoke into the air.
Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) first received reports of the fire at 2.10pm on Tuesday afternoon.
Twenty firefighters are on site at what is believed to be a demolition site.
It is not yet known if anyone was injured, but paramedics arrived around 2:30 p.m. if anyone needed treatment.

“That looks bad, I hope everyone got out,” a witness says in a video obtained by 7News.
“All that water he just put on it doesn’t seem to have done anything.”
Firefighters said from the scene that their challenge was “not just to knock down the fire, but to stop the spread.”
“Fires at demolition yards can burn extremely hot and fast,” FRNSW Chief Inspector Adam Dewberry said.
‘The extreme heat and ability to spread quickly can make these types of fires difficult to control.
“Our firefighters are working to tackle the fire and ensure all people are accounted for.”
The fire site is very close to Bankstown Airport and planes are still flying past.

The airport caters for charter and private business flights, cargo transportation, aeromedical services, aircraft maintenance companies, emergency services and flight schools.
NSW Police said Fitzpatrick St and Milperra Road are closed due to the fire.
People in the area are urged to stay indoors and keep their windows closed due to the smoke.
