Faye Winter has revealed she is back on the dating scene after her split from Teddy Soares last year.
The former Love Island star, 28, has focused on herself in recent months and now feels confident enough to enjoy dating again.
Speak with The mirror, Faye says: ‘Last year I promised not to interact with the opposite sex at all. Now I’m dating again and really enjoying it.
‘It’s a new experience for me to walk into a restaurant and meet someone for a drink. I appreciate having my own space, but I also want to get to know someone new.’
The blonde bombshell, who rose to fame on the reality dating show in 2021, went on to say that she had to take some time to focus on herself last year, which meant not talking or looking at men.

When asked if she would return to Love Island, Faye expressed her doubts but admitted it helped her ‘grow and become more vulnerable’, which is a great strength.
“I’m grateful for the experience, but I don’t know if I would want to date on such a public platform again,” she said. ‘Never say never, but maybe not!’
Faye’s new confidence comes after her bitter split from ex-boyfriend and former Love Islander, Teddy Soares.

Faye, a passionate campaigner for Guide Dogs UK, revealed her life was turned upside down after announcing her ‘heartbreaking and difficult’ split from Teddy in February 2023 after a year and a half of dating.
She said: ‘Last year I had the opportunity to do other things [reality TV], but I said it wasn’t the right time for me. I always think timing is so important.
‘Last year I had to focus on myself. My well-being, my health, and so I prioritized that, and it was the best decision I ever made.

She added: ‘I’ve lost a lot of weight. I was in a really bad, terrible place. We’ve all been there, but for me I really had to block out the noise or I could have gone a different route.”
“I will never look back and regret putting myself first, I’m very proud of that. I could have gotten more followers, but it just doesn’t bother me to do that or be that side of things.”

“I didn’t want to post [on social media]. I didn’t really want people to know what was going on in my life. I really had to focus on myself and what makes me happy.

She continued, “I’ve definitely found my happiness. I’ve definitely become a lot more independent as there was a point where I didn’t even want to leave my house alone.
“My dog is my reason and she has given me a reason on my lowest days. She is the love of my life right now. I loved her when I didn’t want to love myself. And ultimately that allowed me to love myself and get out.”

He recalled, “I remember messaging someone once while I was in a relationship. And for me this person was just an acquaintance… the partner I was with was really unhappy’

During his Teddy Talks podcast, the TV personality raised eyebrows when he discussed a “past relationship” – although he didn’t specify who he was with.
In a conversation about boundaries, Teddy and his brother Sidney discussed how couples should make each other aware of their boundaries and rules in a relationship.
He recalled, “I remember messaging someone once while I was in a relationship. And to me this person was just someone I knew.’
Teddy continued, “This person was just someone I know. We know it about each other.
“I messaged them asking about their Halloween plans. I think I may have asked this person, “Are you going to dress up as a devil or an angel? What do you think?”
‘And I remember that the partner I was with at the time was really not happy about that.’
Sidney wondered: ‘And why do you think your then partner would have been unhappy?
‘Can I jump in? I’m not your partner. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to be your partner… but if I were on the other side…
“Here’s what she might be thinking. “So you’re thinking about what she’s wearing now. And it could be a devil costume.”
Teddy replied, “It was completely innocent. It was literally to come up with a plan for Halloween. I don’t normally celebrate it because it’s outside my comfort zone.
“When I asked it was innocent because let’s face it… you dress up on Halloween to look a little sexy or to stand out. I’m not asking to be provocative. I asked as in, “I’m going to steal your idea.”
Sidney added, “Whether I agree with that question or not, it doesn’t matter. You said communication was crucial and at that moment you knew where the boundaries were in that relationship.’

Following his divorce from Faye, Teddy dated model Casey Boonstra, first revealing he was “really in love with her” in October 2023.
However, just months later in January, he announced he was single after calling it quits on their romance.
In May, Faye revealed Faye exclusively to MailOnline the real reason behind her shock split with Teddy.
Faye confessed that they were both in “different places” and wanted opposite things, which put a strain on their relationship.
She said: ‘It’s been very clear, especially over the last few months, we just wanted different things. We were just in different places.
“And you know, relationships… they’re hard, you know, they’re hard things to maintain. People experience divorce every day. Every day people experience heartbreak.
‘It’s just part of life and it’s a very difficult situation to go through. I am not done. “I don’t know if I’ll ever be willing to reveal what completely happened between us because that’s between me and Teddy.”
