    At least nine people were killed and 33 injured after a bus carrying Hindu pilgrims, attacked by terrorists, plunged into a gorge in Reasi in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday evening. Following the attack, a search operation was launched in Reasi in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday morning. The bus was on its way to the Shiv Khori Cave Temple when it was attacked. When the terrorists opened fire, the bus fell into a gorge. Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha assured action against the people behind it. “I strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack on a bus in Reasi. My condolences to the relatives of the martyred civilians. Our security forces and JKP have launched a joint operation to hunt down the terrorists,” the LG said in a post on X .

    After the far-right defeated its centrist alliance in the EU polls, French President Emmanuel Macron declared on Sunday that he was dissolving parliament and calling early parliamentary elections.     An Indian-origin man from Ludhiana in Punjab, Yuvraj Goyal, was murdered in Surrey, Canada on Friday. Yuvraj, 28, worked as a sales manager after arriving in Canada on a student visa in 2019 and had recently received his Canadian permanent resident (PR) status. The motive for his killing is under investigation, the Royal Canadian Police said.
