Gracie Bon, a 27-year-old model from Panama, recently shared a distressing experience from a visit to Disneyland Paris with her young siblings. What was supposed to be a day of fun quickly turned sour as the model, known for her curvaceous figure and body-positive message, faced relentless gawking and ridicule from other park-goers.
Bon, who has amassed a following of 6.4 million on Instagram, posted a video detailing her ordeal. In the footage, she can be seen navigating the park and enjoying various rides, while background scenes show onlookers snapping photos and laughing at her. She described the behavior as body-shaming and expressed her frustration at being treated disrespectfully simply for existing.
“It’s time to stop body-shaming other people,” Bon wrote in an overlay on the video. “I was at Disneyland today, I wanted to have fun with my siblings, but our day was ruined by all the people that were making fun of the size of my body.”
Bon went on to criticize the parents who set poor examples for their children by engaging in such behavior. “The worst part is that they teach their kids to do the same,” she said. “They kept taking photos of me, they gave me bad looks all the time, or just kept laughing at me.”
She urged people to show respect towards others and refrain from making anyone feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. “Even if you have a condition, you look different, you shouldn’t be bullied for the way you look,” she added. “I would never talk negatively about someone else’s appearance. Respect is key.”
Gracie Bon has been open about her journey towards self-love and body positivity. In January, she addressed rumors regarding her figure, specifically speculation about having undergone a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). “How life changes when you start loving yourself,” she shared. “Happy to have you who have seen all my evolution and also those who criticize and wish to be me. And no, I have never had face surgery.”
The video quickly went viral, garnering over two million views within days. While it attracted support from many of her followers, it also led to increased scrutiny and interest in her other online content. This surge in curiosity resulted in some of her OnlyFans content being leaked on the X (formerly known as Twitter), a repercussion of her newfound viral status.
