Radamel Falcao has found a new football home.

The experienced marksman has secured a move to the tenth club of his senior career, almost a decade after joining Manchester United on loan.

Falcao, 38, has described the club as ‘the team of my heart’.

It comes after a three-year spell at Rayo Vallecano in Spain and a horrific night in October when his luxury Madrid home was broken into.

The striker’s new club is Millonarios FC, one of the most successful clubs in his native Colombia.

“Everyone knows that Millonarios is the team of my heart, of my youth,” Falcao said.

He previously trained with Millonarios early in his career, but they did not offer him a contract and he was instead picked up by Argentine giants River Plate.

Falcao, who has scored 345 goals in a career dating back to 1999 when he made his debut for Colombian club Lanceros Boyaca at the age of 13, is wrapping up his career in Spain.

He scored twelve goals in three seasons at Rayo Vallecano and suffered a traumatic burglary in October.

The forward will be hoping for better luck than he had at United, where he scored just four times in 29 games in 2014/15.

El Mundo reported that several men broke into the residence while he was dining with his family at a nearby restaurant Saturday evening.

The intruders are said to have taken designer bags, watches and some jewelery before being surprised by an employee and fleeing.
